About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Technical Lead to join our team. This role involves leading a team of 5-10 people, and you will play a pivotal role in steering our development projects towards successful delivery, maximizing value creation at every step. This position demands not only exceptional technical skills but also a keen ability to understand and align with business goals, ensuring that our software solutions drive substantial benefits for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with team members and clients/stakeholders
• Mentor less experienced team members in order to assist them in their personal growth
• Facilitate team member’s work by helping them remove any impediments for completing their tasks.
• Responsible for the team's estimations and making sure they are accomplished, handle deviations and communicate them correctly when they cannot be remediated.
• Take ownership of own tasks and team’s responsibilities
• Perform most critical and complex code reviews
• Participate in the definition of team processes, methodologies and standards and make sure team members comply with them.
• Make sure the team uses good coding practices allowing easiness to read and maintain
• Ensure minimum quality standards set by the company and/or the client are met. This includes not only code metrics like coverage, code styles and suggestions made by static code analyzers (among others), but also architectural and business documentation, and practices
• Technically guide the client and understand their needs in order to translate them into well defined requirements. Architect and document technical designs for addressing those needs
• Understand team members' individual strengths and motivations and assign tasks accordingly.
• Aid in establishing a long term relationship with the client, gaining their trust not only in the team’s technical skills but also in the fact that every decision the team makes, it’s in the project's best interest.
• Proactively provide feedback to the technical members of the Team through continuous feedback process. Aiming to correct low performance issues when they are detected or when there’s room for improvement and also highlighting when things are working correctly.
• Along with the Project Manager, ensure that the project’s delivery sticks with the plan.
• Participate in the selection of team members for the project, making sure they have the right set of hard and soft skills.
• Closely work with the client Technical Leader, Architects, Product Managers to have a clear vision of the project and product.
• Be aware of the cross cutting concerns of the project. Propose changes, be in charge to develop all of the aspects that may be needed to make the product successful.

Requisitos

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in .NET development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Basic knowledge of Docker
• Experience with CI/CD
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (ideally React) and cloud services (AWS, Azure) would be advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of NodeJS and serverless framework.
