We seek a motivated and eager-to-learn team player to join our multi-cultural and cross-functional teams. You'll assist with tasks across various development phases under the guidance of experienced engineers. In this role, you'll collaborate with Making Sense engineers and product teams to ensure timely and accurate task delivery within project plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and support container orchestration technologies.
  • Help build and manage automated pipelines.
  • Contribute to building standardized, clean, and maintainable Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Monitor cloud usage and support cost optimization efforts.
  • Create and update infrastructure diagrams and documentation.
  • Support cloud security initiatives using appropriate tools.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure business continuity.
  • Write and review code to support automated solutions across the stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Learn new systems and manage additional technical resources to meet project requirements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues across the stack (software, database, infrastructure).
  • Develop problem-solving skills and seek continuous process and solution improvements.

Requisitos

  • Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work under guidance.
  • Previous Experience in any IT profession such as developer, qa or cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and core DevOps tools, such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Basic knowledge of Terraform, AWS, Docker, or willingness to learn
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
  • Interest in automation scripting in Python, Bash or other languages.
  • Awareness of cloud security principles and monitoring tools
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Comfortable with Linux-based systems and command-line operations.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and tools quickly.
  • Basic understanding of relational and/or non-relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified or interested in obtaining cloud certification (AWS, GCP, Azure) or relevant industry certifications.
  • Exposure to traditional enterprise data-center technologies, including compute, storage appliances, virtual machines, and networking.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to the open-source community or DevOps-related projects.
